With a 283 mm caliber and a weight of more than 200 tons, it fired massive projectiles weighing hundreds of kilograms over distances of several dozen kilometers. Its operation required dozens of crew members, reinforced rail tracks, and a highly coordinated firing process. Although its rate of fire was slow, its
